from 1910
until 2025

Llangoed Village Hall is one of the biggest halls on the island.
It was built by the people of Llangoed in 1910 for the sum of £1,500. Funds were generously donated by the general public with significant donations by the Chadwick family of Haulfre and the Massey family of Cornelyn. Their commemorative stones can be seen on either side of the hall entrance. Also inside the hall are the brass plaques to the fallen of both WW1 and WW2. At one time there were 3 tennis courts in the Hall grounds.

In 2010 the Hall celebrated its Centenary with a redesigned garden area, local celebrations, a publication ‘A Pictorial History of Llangoed’
and a memorable stone for its exterior.
